HTC has released the HTC Desire 820. The HTC Desire 820 is quite thin, but wide, measuring 157.7×78.7×7.7mm, with a weight of 155 grams. Its display measures 5.5inches, being LCD with an average resolution of 720×1280 pixels that gives a pixel density of 267 ppi. It would have been great if the screen would have been protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, which means that you'll have to be careful not to drop the phone to the ground because it might get a lot of scratches.

You can say goodbye to the 4MP Ultra Pixel camera. Now, you'll have a 13 MP back camera with a great configuration such as f2.2 13MP rear BSI sensor, which can record videos at 1080p@30fps. The front camera is also amazing at 8MP,which may be the highest resolution front-facer we've so far seen on a phone After Desire EYE. It has various software features including digital makeup and the ability to morph two faces together, so you'll take perfect selfies.

The phone comes with Qualcomm’s latest 64 bit system on a chip, which is Snapdragon 615 which houses an octa core processor consisting of quad core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad core 1 GHz Cortex-A53. The graphics are from Adreno 405 and the RAM capacity is 2GB, which means that the device will support multitasking without a problem. The internal memory might seem small, at 16GB, but you'll be able to add a microSD card an increase it up to 128GB. The Desire 820 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 on top of it.
