Xiaomi Redmi 3 to be launched on January 12th

Xiaomi evolves out to confirm that the Redmi 3 smartphone will be launching on January 12th. Xiaomi not only confirmed the release ,but also revealed a teaser of it. The teaser also shows that the device sports a 5-inch display, as well as features an all metal body with a unique plaid design on the back. The specifications includes a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution TFT display ,an octa-core CPU under-the-hood clocked at 1.5GHz & with 2GB RAM , 4G LTE support , a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of inbuilt storage & expandable upto 128GB and it measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm, and weighs 143 grams.The OS runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is said to come in Silver colour variant.
