Almost 6 months of becoming available globally,Apple has updated its website implying that the Apple Watch is launching in India on November 6th. There has been no word on the exact price.
The global roll-out of Apple Watches been slow-paced, heightening anticipation for the wearables. Six months after its global launch, India is part of Apple's tenth wave of releases. The previous launch was in Chile, Philippines and South Africa on October 23
Based on the price in US ($349) for the base model, the expected price in India is to be around Rs.30,000.The Apple Watch model starts at $549 (roughly Rs. 35,600), while the Apple Watch Edition can go up to $17,000 (roughly Rs. 11 lakhs).

The smartwatch will be available in two sizes (38 and 42 mm) and three variants: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Edition and Apple Watch Sport. The first two come with sapphire crystal to protect the screen from cracking, whereas the sports version has a strengthened Ion-X glass on the display.
The Apple Watch produced in collaboration with luxury brand Hermès, featuring "leather straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France and an Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple designers" will apparently be available in India, as it features on the Apple webpage that advertises the launch.

The features like Force Touch and Digital crown set the Apple Watch "out of the line" from other smartwatches.Apple Watch also has a built in mic and a speaker using which one can complete a conversation as long as the iPhone is connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
The variants of this Apple Watch comprise three different leather straps, a stainless steel link bracelet and Milanese loop, and a Black or White Sport Band.
Apple Watch Edition features cases made from custom rose or yellow 18-carat gold alloys developed to be twice as hard as standard gold, a Retina display protected by polished sapphire crystal and a choice of uniquely designed straps and bands with 18-carat gold clasps, buckles or pins.
