Motorola has unveiled the new Moto 360, the successor to “the most successful Android Wear watch ever launched.”

Motorola has taken the wraps off to its latest version of the Moto 360 smartwatch, including an all-new model designed specifically for sport fanatics.

The company has now looked to target individual markets with its latest device, revealing case designs with lugs specifically tailored for men and women, polished bezels in a range of new styles, and the ability to quickly swap between leather and metal bands in a matter of seconds thanks to new quick-release bands.

All the new Moto 360 models are outfitted with aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel, and are IP67 certified for water resistance and dust proofing. The sharper LCD displays are also covered with Gorilla Glass 3.

Finally, the new Moto 360 is powered by Android Wear 1.3 and brings compatibility with iPhone for those using the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.2 and above.

Moto 360 will be available in 46mm and 42mm for men, and only the 42mm version is for the ladies. Last but not the least is the Moto 360 Sport, and it has a more sports-friendly design, and it will probably become your best friend for all your athletic activities. All of them are running on a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.

The difference between the 46mm and 42mm variant is that the former comes with a 1.56-inch (360 x 330) LCD, while the latter has a 1.37-inch (360 x 325) LCD. Other than that, everything else is the same. Both displays are covered in Gorilla Glass 3 for rugged toughness. The 2nd Gen Moto 360 still carries the ‘flat-tire’ from its predecessor, but Motorola says that it is important for the watch. Also, Motorola shifted the power-button from 3’o clock to 2’o clock position.
