HTC One A9 launched with Similar iPhone design Snapdragon 617 3GB RAM and 13MP camera

HTC released its latest device the HTC One A9 which was released today at event held in Barclays Center. The A9 was rumored to be having iPhone design and yes they were correct the device looks almost identical to the iPhone 6 just differs in the front camera placement and physical button. The device is priced only $399.99 and will be available in 4 different color variants Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold, Deep Garnet.

Coming to the design only thing it differs from the iPhone 6 is camera placement and the branding. this new design also means that the front facing speakers are no more used .It now features a physical button which doubles as a fingerprint sensor. It features a 5.0 inch FullHD(1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display with 441 ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.


HTC One A9 Processor and Memory

The smartphone is powered by the Latest 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chip 4 cores running 1.5GHz and other 4 running 1.2GHz. It is accompanied by 3GB and 2GB RAM depending on the 32GB(Approximately 24 GB storage available for user content) and 16GB(Approximately 9.8 GB storage available for user content) ROM equipped in the device. Using SD card the external memory can be extendable upto 2TB. The high end graphic gaming will be taken care by Adreno 405.

HTC One A9 Camera and Battery

The HTC One A9 sports a 13MP autofocus camera with f/2.0 apertur, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1080p recording, 12X Hyperlapse video, and supportsto take RAW images. The front camera is the classic Ultrapixel camera used by HTC in its previous iterations. it is also capable of shooting 1080p display and provides better low-light performance. The only downside of the device would be the battery, It is backedup by a Non-removable Li-Ion 2150 mAh battery which is considerably less when you look at the specs sheet. but though it supports quick Charge 2.0 support (forward compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 with future software upgrade).

The HTC A9 is mid-range device from HTC but comes with powerful specs and premium look and feel. It will be running Android Marshmallow straight out of the box along with the latest HTC Sense which is very responsive and provides a fluid experience.
