HTC One X9 rumors, specs, pricing and release date
HTC One X9 has been all over the news from few weeks. After the launch of HTC One A9, the next device to expect from htc is the One X9. But rather disappointing fact is that it will be mid-range smartphone and when you look at specs it can be even rated down below the One A9.
Coming to specs of the devices several people like @llabtoofer and @evleaks tweeted several specs regarding the one X9. But we finally have some more concrete details, courtesy of China’s TENAA. The telecommunications equipment certification center like the FCC has revealed the specs and some images of the One X9.

The HTC One X9 comes with a Full HD(1080 X 1920 px) 5.5-inch display, an unknown 2.2GHz Quad Core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera, and microSD support extendable upto 1TB. The device is detailed as being 153.2mm X 75.9mm, 7.99mm thick, and weighs 174 grams.

The manufacturer of the SoC is still unknown, the device will be available in Space Grey variant and one of the strangest thing is that the device will run Android 5.0.2 out-of-the-box when you know that A9 did come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device will be announced in Q1 2016 prior ~2-3 months before flagship "M10".

Looking at design you can assume that the design has been copied from the Nexus 6P, But HTC can defend the fact that it actually started the whole metal casing trend. In addition to that HTC Legend which is pretty old device also has the strip behind the camera, the Boomsound speakers are back, finally the HTC branding has moved to the top of the device previously present below the screen and presence of capacitive button with no physical button for fingerprint sensor.

Since the device specs are rated below the HTC One A9 which is priced $696(RS.46,000), If the Taiwanese company has to sell this mobile is has to set price level very low. With the phone has nothing new it is impossible that the One X9 would make any differences in HTC's current market scenario.
