Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is official, to be available for sale on November 11th


Xiaomi had shaken the wearable electronics market with its budget friendly Mi Band. The company claimed that it had already shipped 6 million units of the Mi Band. Now the company had officially announced the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S.

This sequel is priced at 99 CNY (Rs.1030 approx) only. The sad news is that there is no display as many people had expected. As with the previous one, we still have to rely on the smartphone for the display of the stats.This device sports an IP67 rating.


This new device sports an optical heart rate sensor to track the heart activity and also the quality of sleep.It also counts the number if calories burnt during the exercise and the number if steps taken. It unlocks the device and vibrates to notifications sent to the device paired with.

This device measures 36mm x 14mm x 9mm and weighs around 5.5 gms. The battery capacity is 45 mAh.



Another good news is that the prices of the previous Mi Band have been dropped down to Rs. 799 only. This Mi Band 2 would be available for sale on November 11th.
