India's MOM spacecraft arrives at Mars

All Indians will be proud as its Mangalyaan "MOM" satellite mission successfully entered orbit around Mars.Now India is the first Asian nation to reach the Mars and also the first country to get to Mars on the first attempt.Both Russia and the US failed in their maiden attempts. The most astonishing thing is that the project is one of the cheapest exploration projects in recent history, costing just $72 million very cheap compared to NASA's $670 million MAVEN probe and the $2 billion Curiosity Rover. 

India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has been here since early morning to cheer the Mars Orbiter Mission or MOM and clapped his way to the rostrum, where he said with a big smile, "The moment this mission was named MOM, I knew it would not  disappoint. Moms never fail...We dared to reach out to the unknown." and also said that it cost less to launch the satellite than it cost to make the movie Gravity.
