HTC confirmed to make the next Nexus tablet



The supposed HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet has been rumored relatively often over the last few months and also the tablet has passed through FCC testing. Firstly the documents do confirm that the new model is in fact a tablet. We can confirm that the tablet has been FCC certified for most WiFi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n) and is also NFC certified

It will be surely come with the New Android L out of the box. The previous Nexus tablets were manufactured by Asus and Samsung. The Nexus 9, known as 'Volantis' in codename form, will feature an 8.9in display with a 2048 x 1440 resolution (that's 281ppi). It will be powered by an nVidia Logan Tegra K1 64-bit processor along with 2GB of RAM. Storage will be either 16 or 32GB and like other Nexus devices, there's no word on a microSD card slot.Cameras are reported to be 8Mp at the rear with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 3Mp at the front. Remains specs are design-related and show that the Nexus 9 is thinner than the Nexus 7 at 7.87mm and will weigh 418g. It will use a 'zero-gap' aluminium construction and have front-facing stereo speakers.The second bit of news claims that the Nexus 9 will be available from Amazon US. While Nexus enthusiasts typically like to buy their devices directly form Google Play, Amazon has traditionally offered Nexus tablets at a reasonable price to the public. 



Some previous reports have claimed that the Google HTC Nexus 9 will be released on Oct. 8, since the Taiwanese manufacturer will hold an event on that date. Beyond that, on his Twitter account, developer Paul O'Brien shared that the latest Nexus tablet will debut on Oct. 24 in an event and it will be available through a U.K. carrier. There are other reports that assert that the tablet will be released on Oct. 31 or in November.
