CES 2015: Sony launches a beautiful UHD TV

Sony is one of the longest companies driving with the UHD standard, provided your TV 'flagship', the X910C at CES 2015 press conference that ahead on Monday night.

The first thing that jumps out is its thinness. With 4.7 mm, it is the thinnest LCD TV in the market. It is slimmer than most smartphones and tablets. That gives you a 'look' very stylish and attractive. With its 75-inch screen and ultra-thin frame bears some resemblance to a giant mirror.

Inside, it has the new image processor X1, which according to the company provides higher quality scaled content or tablets have better contrast, reduces noise and artifacts and shows a better color, in conjunction with the Triluminos technology.

Moreover, as the rest of the line Sony UHD 2015, installed software will allow access to over 1,300 movies and TV series 4K through own catalog of Sony and services such as Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and Ultraflix, among others.

As always the big problem is the availability of these services outside the United States. We have no details about it so far; but not that we harbor much hope.

The rest of the line Sony 4K for this year includes televisions with screens 55 and 65 inches, which will be available in the first half of this year.

The other big announcement from Sony in his press conference Monday was the arrival of Android TV to your entire lineup of 2015 4K TVs.

With this, Sony became the first major TV maker massively adopting Android TV, in a very interesting both on the manufacturer and Google play. The Japanese company making the weight of a frustrating interface and can be concentrated and what it does well is removed, and Google takes advantage in the race to bring Android to all screens.
