Micromax YU Yuphoria, a best budget smartphone, specifications and its features
Micromax’s Yu made an entry into the smartphone market by launching Yu Yureka smartphone in December 2014. Yuphoria is the the successor to the Yureka smartphone. The catchy thing of the smartphone is that its support for 4G LTE.
The Yu Yuphoria smartphone will be sporting an AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 atop. The smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop based cyanogen OS. Just like the Yureka smartphone, the Yuphoria device one will also be powered by Cyanogen OS 12.

Cyanogen OS which is designed on Android delivers rich software advancements that optimise performance, customisation, security and privacy features on mobile devices. Yu Televentures, which is a subsidiary of Micromax, joined hands with Cyanogen to offer customised user experience to end users.
The smartphone will come with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card along with 2GB RAM. It is said to come with a 64-bit processor, 8M{ camera on the rear-side, 5MP shooter on the front, and 2230 mAh battery which can run the phone for close to 160 hours under standby mode.
The company has confirmed that Micromax YU Yuphoria sale will go live on Amazon India on 28 May under FLASH sale concept. Prospective buyers are advised to get registered to become eligible to buy the new YU phone later this month. Registration window will open later in the evening 5:00 pm on Amazon India. The price of the device is expected to be under Rs 7000, thereby giving competition to the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
