Facebook M is powered by artificial intelligence like any other digital assistant on the market, but differs in the fact that it is also “trained and supervised” by real people.The information is abstracted from users whether a computer or a person has helped them.For now, Facebook M is being tested with a few hundred people in the San Francisco area,unlike Google Now and Cortana M has no Gender, M will not give the users their frequently search information. For example, Google Now will tell you the weather of the day or the stock information of your favorite company even if you don't search for it or ask for it. M would not do that. Instead it will just answer the questions that is asked.

Facebook intends to eventually make M available to all of Messenger’s 700 million users.M is also an attempt by Facebook to catch up with the massive amounts of usage data currently being collected by Apple, Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
“M can purchase items,get gifts delivered to your loved ones, book restaurants, travel arrangements, appointments,make suggestions ”the service will make suggestions based on your answers to its questions and based on previous conversations you made with.This is early in the journey to build M into an at-scale service.
