Asus showcased their latest device, the ZenFone Zoom.Apparently, the device wasn't given to the media personnel,but was available for display.
The highlight of the device is the 13 Megapixel rear camera which sticks out to the backside just like the Nokia Lumia 1020, comes with a capablity of 3x optical zoom. Asus demonstrated the device's zoom in capability on hard-to-read details like writing found on a money note and it was pretty astounding.The device runs on Android Lollipop.

There were many other features announced such as the Laser Auto focus feature, optical image stabilization, manual mode for controlling white balance, exposure, ISO, shutter speed and focal point.These features weren't illustrated but sound pretty good on paper.
The device comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera which even wasn't illustrated. But as the device was announced as a "Cameraphone", we can expect some cool features and good performance from it. This device comes with a 5.5 full HD display.

The ZenFone Zoom will launch in Q2 2015 for $399. We hope to get hands-on time with the device before then.
