Apple releases a bug fix for iOS 9.3 which made older devices inactive or bricked
Apple has patched the iOS 9.3 bug that made older devices to go into a inactive mode when users entered in wrong details. Now this bug is fixed by the Cupertino and stated no panic for the users who pre-ordered the iPhone SE or 9.7 inch iPad pro. Along with launch of latest iPhone SE and 9.7 inch iPad pro, Apple also unveiled iOS 9.3 the latest iteration of its Operating system. It was made straight away available for download all the devices that supported iOS 9 update including the 1st Gen iPad mini.

But many users reported a bug while updating to the latest iOS version. Users with iPhone 5S or older devices faced this issue. For updating to iOS 9.3, the Apple ID and password have to be entered by the user. On wrong credentials the device will remain in an inactivated state.

Apple quickly noticed about this bug and paused the iOS update and stated that they will be working on the bug fix. Just in less than a week of time the bug has been fixed. The affected users can can plug their iPads or iPhones to a computer to update them via iTunes.
