The changes for the S7 comparing to S6 & S6 edge is a additional SD card slot which is extended upto 128GB. Samsung has decided 32GB is enough for all US users. And, of course, it would be IF Samsung had fully implemented Android Marshmallow’s support for expandable storage.It's once again water-resistant, too. Battery capacity has been increased, and both the camera and processor resulting to give a sharp performance.
The standard S7 continues the 5.1-inch, quad HD Super Amoled display from its predecessor.The feature handset includes IP68 water and dust resistance, which allows for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes at a time. The S7’s waterproofing includes sealed ports, so there are no fussy port covers over the USB ports or headphone jacks,which will help in protecting from being damaged. The S7 does not use USB Type-C, but sticks with the already marketed Micro USB port. Samsung says this is because Micro USB retains compatibility with the Gear VR headset released last year, and that USB C is not quite ready for the mainstream just yet.
