We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as news reporters to write and report on all the latest happenings in the all the technology industries. This is your opportunity to get involved with one of the Technology News sites on the internet, have your voice heard and help educate millions of technology enthusiasts around the world.
Writing experience is not essential, but is advantageous. Although, excellent English writing/grammar and communication skills are a must.
Be educated to a High School graduate level.
Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours writing a week. All writers will be responsible for writing news articles which range between 350 – 500 words, as well as being able to correctly follow and format their articles to our specifications.
Ideally, you will be required to write a minimum of three articles per week and more as the volume of news dictates. Please make sure you are able to agree to this time-commitment before applying.
This is a freelance, telecommute/remote position which will allow your to work from anywhere in the world. An ability to write quickly and accurately, in a fast-paced environment, systemize information and convey the information in an interesting way, while also being able to follow exacting instructions.
A willingness to work independently while also being able to self-motivate.
Strong fact-checking skills, highly organized, deadline-driven and detail-oriented. Strong social skills and an ability to work with a large group of talented writers from diverse backgrounds.
Strong passion for Android, Windows and Apple with excellent knowledge of the latest smartphone technology and devices is essential. Due to the nature of our business, a stable laptop/desktop computer, internet connection and a recent Android Smartphone are all required.
Occasional image taking might be required and therefore, the ability to take good and creative photos will be an added bonus.
We are seeking individuals who are not in it for the money, but instead to articulate their passion for blogging about technology. Extra incentives may be offered based on quality and quantity of writing.
