Micromax Yureka went on sale on Tuesday where 10,000 units were sold out in 3 seconds. It was the 1st smartphomes by the Brand 'YU' in collaboration with Micromax. Over 3 lakh people had registered for sale. Since everyone tried to buy the smartphone, the website crashed immediately after the sale was open. Some managed to order, but most users were frustrated since they couldn’t get the smartphone.
The official twitter handle of the Yu brand tweeted, "Thanks for the response. Yureka was stock out in 3 seconds." The buyers who managed to purchase the smartphone will get a free leather back cover exclusive only for the 1st sale.
Micromax want to supply as many handsets as possible as the 2nd flash sale will begin on 22nd Jan which is 9 days away. That's a good work by them. They haven't given any further information on when the registrations will begin for the 2nd sale.
