Fingerprint Sensor

The OnePlus 2 will sport a fingerprint sensor, something that's been featured more and more on high-end Android devices lately. So this isn't a big surprise, but nice to see nevertheless. The details were revealed on Oneplus Forums by one of its staff member, Pete. He stated that "In the past, fingerprint sensors were great in concept, but the technology was just not quite there yet. They could be inaccurate and often times took longer than it would take to just enter a password manually."

The Oneplus 2's Fingerprint scanner is promised to be faster than the Apple Touch ID, thats quite a bold statement to make. Previously the technology was not accurate enough to employ it but now since it is more refined and "lightning quick" it will be equipped with the Oneplus 2. The fingerprint sensor can remember upto 5 Fingerprint profiles.
