- Rumors tell Google has selected LG Electronics Inc. and Huawei Technology Co Ltd to manufacturer the Nexus 5 2015 and that there are two different versions of the smartphone.
- This new Nexus 5 update, Nexus 2015 or Nexus 5 2nd Generation, might overcome the problems faced by Nexus 6 device. It may hopefully cost lesser than Nexus 6 and almost as same as the reasonable price of Nexus 5.
- Also rumor says it that a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera. A 3D camera module is specifically for LG's version of the smartphone and not Huawei's.
- The phone will have a 5.5-inch quad-HD AMOLED screen with 4 GB of RAM.
- The Nexus 5 2015 could also run on a Snapdragon 820 processor and feature a removable 4,000 mAh battery, a heart rate sensor, NFC, Bluetooth, LTE and Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor.
- The date of release is likely to happen between October and November following the launch pattern of previous Nexus smartphones. Google has not announced the official release date of the handset.
