September always brings a new iPhone and other products such as Apple Watch, and this September 2020 will be no exception. There are loads of speculations and rumours about the upcoming iPhone 12 device. We're expecting almost four variants of devices that are going to hit the market in this fall. The speculations suggest that these four new iPhone models are coming up with 5.4, 6.1(x2), and 6.7-inch size of OLED display variants and come with the latest 5G network connectivity.Rumours suggest that 5.4 and 6.1-inch models will be lower-end iPhones with dual-lens camera setup and affordable price range. Whereas the 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch model will be higher-end devices with the triple-lens camera setup. It's expected that higher-end models come with 120Hz "ProMotion" refresh rate display.

Design-wise iPhone 12 variant devices are said to be coming with a metal frame that's similar t the frame of iPhone 4 or the iPad Pro which will be having a distinctive flat look for its stainless steel frame. Rumours also suggest that there will be TrueDepth camera system and also having said that these devices come with 3D triple-lens rear camera system improving both Photography and AR capabilities that uses a laser to calculate depth information for objects in the room which is likely to be said LiDAR Scanner in the 2020 iPad Pro.
This 2020 is the first time that Apple introduces a 5G network in the iPhone, rumours say that all the four devices that going to hit the market will have 5G connectivity with mmWave technology which is faster than the 4G LTE networks.
It is also said that Apple is about to introduce an updated chipset i.e Apple-designed 5-nanometer A14 chipset manufactured by TSMC and it is rumoured that all four iPhone 12 devices come with this new A14 chipset which brings both speed and efficiency improvements. There could be also an upgrade to the charging brick with 20W and the USB-C to lightning cable with a new braided cable design.

While there are no proper details about any new colours, it's likely that iPhone 12 will be offered just like iPhone 11 but presented in a flatter body rather than the current design with curved edges, the colour variants of iPhone 11 that: white, black, green, yellow, purple and red.
