Xiaomi has always been in the news with a variety of devices. Now, it is coming with its flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi5. Xiaomi had already confirmed plans to launch the Mi 5 flagship smartphone after the Spring Festival, which this year starts on February 8, and lasts 15 days. Now, Xiaomi Co-Founder and Senior VP Liwan Jiang has revealed that Mi 5 will go on sale one week after the launch.
Liwan Jiang had earlier revealed that Mi5 had already entered into a mass production stage to meet the requirements of all of its customers when the phone finally launches. However other details like availability in other countries etc. have not been revealed yet.

Xiaomi's Mi 5 is one of the most awaited flagship smartphones for the company. The company has been teasing the launch of the Mi 5 smartphone for months now with the tag "Worth the Wait".
The device is said to sport a 5.3 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (~554ppi) with 3D Touch Display. It runs on MIUI 7.0 built on Android Lollipop v5.1.1. The device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip with Quad core 2.2 GHz and Quad-core 1.8 GHz CPU accompanied by Adreno 530 GPU. The device is powered by 4GB RAM and comes with internal storage variants of 16GB and 64GB. There is no slot for any external SD card. The device features a 16MP primary camera and a 6MP secondary camera. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner. The device is said to be launched with a price tag of $399.
