Microsoft announces Lumia 950 and 950XL with liquid cooling technology specifications and features

Another day and another new device has been unveiled, this time Its Microsoft which announced the 2 new Lumia phones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL that will be coming withe the new "Liquid Cooling technology" which Microsoft states that it allow these phones to handle more powerful chips. they will be running the Latest Windows 10 straight out of the box. The Lumia 950XL is a bigger device which will compete with Note 5, Nexus 6P, iPhone 6S +, LG V10 whereas the Lumia 950 will go head to head against the Nexus 5X, S6/S6 Edge, HTC M9, iPhone 6s.

They have got lot in common, they are equipped with 20MP rear shooter with optical image stabilization and consists of the new Triple LED flash which basically allows you to capture well-lit pictures. You will be also able to shoot 4K video recording and there is dedicated physical button on the device to launch the camera. for the selfie enthusiasts on the front of the device you will find a 5MP camera. Both the devices have got 3GB of RAM and will come in 32GB variant and can be expandable upto 200GB using SDcard and do come with the new USB Type-C ports.

Lumia 950

The Lumia 950 features a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with QuadHD(1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution with 565PPI making it the best screen ever made by Microsoft. The beautiful screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by Hexa Core Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM and graphics will taken care by the Adreno 418GPU. The device will be available in Bright orange, bright green, white, black, gold color variants. The device will be backed up by Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery with USB type-C available the device can go from dead to a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes.

The XL will also include support for Windows Hello that will allow you to log into the phone with just your face, making use of the latest features in Windows 10 Mobile. Continuum support is also added in the XL that turns 950XL into a PC by connecting Monitor, Keyboard and Mosue to a dock which connects to the device itself. 

It's a feature that turns your phone UI into one that's very similar to the Start Menu and desktop found in a real Windows 10 PC. Application developers will need to create Windows 10 apps to take advantage of Continuum, but Microsoft's built-in apps and Office Mobile software will be fully supported out of the box.
